Gospel artiste, Jide Akande dropped his long awaited full length debut
album titled “Ma se beru” (Fear not) on Sunday January 22, 2017 in Lagos
Nigeria.
Speaking on the new album, Jide Akande said the inspiration behind
Ma se beru came from Psalm 46; 10, Romans 8; 31 and Matthew
14:22-34. “There are times in our lives we find ourselves in difficult situations;
we need not to be afraid because the Lord is always with us”
• Spreading
the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ through music via Goodnews Gospel Band in
various occasions within and outside the church gathering and studio recording
of all songs already in archives which were written and composed in the last 20
years.
• Caring
on regular basis for motherless babies home and the less privileged with 25
percent of the proceeds from the ministry at any point in time.
• Organising
at least on bi-annual basis, an open air musical revival in places as directed
by the Lord for the liberty of the broken hearted, starting from our immediate
environment.
Mr. Babajide Akande is the prime
mover of this ministry. He was born some
forty five years ago in to Akande and Adisa families of Ogbomoso town, Oyo
state. He got married to Abigail
Omolara(an Author, professional teacher and co-visioneer of the ministry). The marriage is blessed with three children-
Anjolaoluwa, Oreoluwa and
Oluwasinaayomi.
The visioneer is an Accountant as
well as a Banker and presently heads Financial Control and Administration of
Bowen Micro finance Bank Limited of the Nigerian Baptist Convention.
The ministry is supported by a
five man Board of Trustees at the moment.
We therefore believe that this is
not another leaf but a fruitful vine set to fulfil the mandate of God’s agenda
